A spokeswoman for Kobach said the gun was a replica and defended its use in terms of the Second Amendment.

Here’s the thing: Both sides have extremists who get all of the attention, while the vast majority are just regular people (political moderates) with differences of opinions. If you turn off CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and the like and just live your life being a good person who respects others- America is good. I have intense political conversations with people of opposing viewpoints. Ideas are shared, insight into other viewpoints is gained, and sometimes opinions change. No insults are slung, no feelings are hurt. It’s only unintelligent people who shout and get offended by others views.
